I have a 94 hertiage with a screamin eagle high flow air kit, slash cut pipes, just fitted a ev3 cam and looking at fitting thunder jet kit to the carby.(standard cv carb on bike) Has anybody had one fitted and was it any good.
Cheers Keg
Thanks Scotty for the comments, I've been told a Jost power tube are good, have you had anything to do with them or has anyone else. As you have said the stock carby with the mods, would it be a good idea to have it set up on a dyno tune.

Thanks for the reply Wozza, Coupler years ago i had a FLH ( I think) with 2 blokes on it weighting around 130KG each, towing a trailer full with 2 swags, clothes, tent & esky full of beer ,past me so I followed them into the next town average speed of 150km/h, at the servo he put in a litre more fuel than me(we had both filled at the same town previsely) he told me that he had a yost power tube fitted. I have two thunderjets fitted to an S&S super "G" and they work exceptionally well.
A stock 124 cube S&S twin cam is supposed to put out 129 HP. A week after fitting with 2000klms it ran 142 rear wheel hp on a dynojet dyno.
I wouldn't run anything else, and never had any trouble with carby.
I fited one to the gold bobber with the genny shovel, was a good thing, had noticeable mid range improvement and over all a better thing to ride!
