Hi guys,i have just taken collection of my new v rod muscle,i happened to notice while riding that the oil light flickered on,so i checked the oil level while the bike was hot,as per the manual , it registered on the stick as being past the full mark by approx 2 cm. I have just checked it cold this morning and it is still over the full mark. Being a new owner, do I trust the Harley shop's commisioning of the bike, or am I correct in feeling a little anxious that this is not right. Please advise.

new bike, I wouldn't hesitate to take it back to the shop.  it could be something minor or far worse.  don't risk it.

not sure on the muscle's but on the vmax I had the oil light would flicker on hard acceleration.........

the muscle looks good

I had a ride on the Muscle when the bikes come to town, a cracken ride with the added look. we nicknamed it "the love muscle" not many people didnt like it.
