Motorcyclist bashed with own helmet, bike stolen

    A motorcylist has had his bike stolen in Sydney's south-west after being struck over the head with his own helmet.

    The 27-year-old stopped his motorbike on Copperfield drive at Rosemeadow to have a cigarette around 1am today.

    He was approached by around ten men and was struck over the head with his own helmet.

    The man fell to the ground and was punched, with the group then taking his motorbike.

    The Kawasaki bike has a registration SAY09.

    The group are believed to be aged in their late teens or early twenties.

    Problem is if you are familiar with that part of the world, you do not even slow down as you ride through, hard and fast as you can. Must have been an out of towner to pull up there. Hope the poor bugger is OK and that insurance covers the bike, even if it wasnt a Harley.

    The problem is the leagl system.

    the cops catchem. The do gooders say they come form disfuncional family poor sods, slap on wrist by the courts.

    I live in the Macarthur area, seems that outside gang are just here causing a lot of trouble.

    Normally no more troble than the Shire!!

    Hope he wasnt injuries were not serious, Hope insurance is up to date.

    The shits need a good public floggin when caught then handed to the courts.
