Looking to fit larger diameter bars so I can run the wiring inside and get a beefier look. Got quoted at about 2 hours labour to fit. Did any of you guys fit your own and were there any problems? I have read that getting the pins out of the plugs can cause some bother. Any tips would be good.

I'm not decided on what bars to go with at the moment, most likely go with a bar of similar height but more width. I don't want to have to change cables just yet as braided lines will be fitted eventually.

Whats the trick with the connectors?

    Hi mate,

I fitted fat t bars to mine! there 1 &1/4" and they were a bitch to install! however the result at the end when firring up me softy was the best feeling ever! my bars have 10" rise also! every cable i used is stock!!! wiring the switches was the hardest and had to extend the wires a tiny bit! make sure you solder the wires and use heat shrink over the wires! unless you wanna go through 5 boxes of 15amp fuses waiting for it to fix its self clearly like i did!

I can send you a photo of mine if u like
