Just a hint that might help when fitting new grips.To remove the old grips push a high pressure air nossel under the top lip and give it a blast it will lift the glue and the grip comes off easy and not much cleaning up after, Worked for me

I found the glue which was supplied was useless  so I used silicone adhesive all good

I have used Locktite superglue to hold on the last five sets of grips and never had a problem.
A squirt of superglue remover and a couple of pokes with thin flat screwdriver and they usually come of easily.
Except the original Harley grips are usually easier cut off as they use some bastard glue to hold them on and I have not been able to get them off without a few screwdriver holes in em at the very least.
