Those bikes are inspiring to say the least.

I wish I could afford to have something like that in my garage

Here is mine , it's not as flash as yours but one day....a mate and i own it and it sits at the father in laws house, in his big shed. It's a 1948 C10 in just about original condition. A friend of mine had it 2 years and rode it a couple of times, but the person who had it before him owned it 14 years and never rode it. Everything works but we hav'nt ridden it for a while, and the rego has run out. As you can see it need a bit of a tidy up, but that will be for a day down the track.

    here's a couple of mine

first is a genuine  Yamaha yzr30sx , this is the bike that started the pocket bike craze, 78 model approx (still can't find anyone to positively confirm that not even Yamaha) 30cc pull start, made by Sunward a subsidiary of Yamaha.thought to be less than 400 in the country, i personaly only know of 6, very hard to find any info on , luckily when i bought mine it came with an original workshop manual.Hadn't been started in 15 years when i got it , cleaned the plug, new fuel , 5 pulls and away she went, even got video of my 6 foot , 16 year old son riding it, pretty farkin funny.

second is a Carabela Motopony 60,

i believe this to be the only one in Australia and  1 of only possibly 100 ever built, the only other one i have seen sold at a prestige bike auction in Monteray California about 4 years ago for over $4000 US.

made in Mexico, approx late 70s, 60cc auto, 9 inch parelli tyres (very rare, do you think i can find anymore, no),

also hadn't been started in over 15 years, took a bit but have had i running but haven't ridden it due to the tyres and not wanting to abuse them anymore than needed, luckily it also came with previous history , workshop manual, stickers and a spare fromt fairing.

so something a little different than the norm , but hey i like em and thats what it's all about

This is a mates Z900 that he droped of at my house on the weekend. It's 1973 ZA1 , He has asked me to give it a bit of a clean up, It's a bit rusty in places. Iv'e just ordered a swag of new parts for it..

I should have it done in a few weeks, The old thing runs great,

Iv'e got to fit New Fork Legs, New Points and Alternator  Covers, Headlight Bucket and a few other bits. and a stack of cleaning.

The Best part about fixing on of these is you can get most of the stuff New Repo,

Early (Jan 69) Triumph Trident. The first of the triples. Very quick in it's day. Always loved these machines and got the opportunity to buy this US re-import a few years ago. Now has lower bars and Dunstall cans. Still a quick, road registered bike. Enjoy, Ronster.

    Cheers RT,

they exported the Triples to the US as in your photo. They didn't sell so they fitted the 'US beauty Kit'  in 1970. Made them look like a Bonny and they started to sell. Way too late to save Triumph though. Attended the Triples Down Under rally in 2007 at the Gold Coast, there were 53 triples (Tridents, R3's, Hurricanes). Now that was great to be part of, the noise mate, the noise.

That Tamworth bike museum is pretty good RT, worth a look if you are passing through. We arrived on a quiet day and got the full blown tour by the volunteer fella. He was a bike rider himself, had a nice BMW tourer outside.

I've got a 1952 Norton Dominator Model 7 under restoration, and I've just picked up a 1981 750 Bonny that I'm fixing up. I'll post photos once I find out why photobucket refuses to upload photos from me.
