That's pretty freaky. It happened in the US last week, a Navy jet crashed after the pilot ejected, several people sitting at home were killed.

Awwww they wont let me get close enough to get pics...prob better views on the news.......my mate lives just a few doors up so i called to make sure his 83 shovel was safe....yup i wont be getting that now..........man a woman murdered in the BP here a cpla days ago now this......its all happening in downtown Casula this week.........Flan....u want a slightly used laser pointer?????

Recently a small but busy little airport (Hoxton Pk) was closed to build houses......my theory is a shitload more air traffic now being controlled by Camden and Bankstown aps which were busy enough....I have personally flown light aircraft into both and to think of all the new light traffic and change of tracking....man hope im wrong.

Living just south of Jandakot is a worry sometimes but not under any standard flight path... FYI.. Jandakot is Australia's busyest airport

What struck me about this story on the news was the "89 year old pilot"...........I did a double take and think, "did I hear right"
He must have been a Volvo driver and had a bowls hat sitting on the back parcel rack. Explains all.........

Watched the plane fall out of the sky.

Was driving from Warilla, south of Wollongong to the Hunter Valley when I watched a plane do some wierd shit, i.e. spiral out of the sky. Didn't see the collision. Had no idea what was happening as I was concentrating on the traffic...... and it was a couple of km's away.

Didn't really give it another thought until it was on the 12 noon news on the radio.

At the time I said something to the missus like WTF was that!!
