Welcome I have been the owner of many styles of bikes but you cant beat the harley for pure enjoyment no matter what type i had a 05 1200c for two years but the greed for more power takes over after a while so at a minimum go the 1200 IMO

G'day and Welcome to the Forum, if ya get the 1200 it will save you rebuilding the 883 into a 1200 or trading the 883 in for a 1200 down the track.
The power is addictive, you will want more.
Or better still just buy a Dyna .

I have an 883C myself. The boys are right, it doesn't take long before you think, this is not enough.

Might keep me alive for a bit longer though until I am ready to go up. Do it in your own time.
