whats a good base map for a 09 dyna fatbob vance&hines 2 into 1 big radius thunderbird aircleaner thundermax with auto tune base map that was programmed when my mate got it was running fine know it has started pop on decel would the 401 base map be okay.

have u considerd 403 ? its the same as 401 but its been tuned on a dyna and not a sofy ,  theres a slight diff in 96mtrs in dyna and softy , could be as simple as no balances in the dyna/ header lenth etc etc etc

I just fitted a Tmax (not AutoTune) and loaded 403 as a base map. Farkin flies! All Ihave done is dropped the idle a tad, runs like a swiss watch. It's using slightly more fuel, but that could be from using 98 in it, when I have only ever run 95 before. Apparently they run better on 95 octane - so I have read here in other posts. Next tank I will see if this myth is busted or fact. Of course it could be just me turning the wick up a bit more....
