    Hi.

After repairing my chaincase leak (see elsewhere on this forum), I filled up with Mobil 1 V Twin oil.

I got it from Lubes Direct, in Penrith. $102 for a pack of 6 x 1 Quart(US) bottles. The bottles are actually just under a litre, so that's about 6L for $102.

I found it difficult to get, and the prices when I could find it were about $27 for a bottle. Is this what everyone else finds?

    Gonzo.

Hey Gonzo, thats a good price. Cheaper than the Syn3 I use in my FLH. I might start heading down there when my warranty is over. I use to get Mobile 1 Vtwin from MCA for $19.95 a quart but his prices have gone up since I last bought it for my FXDWG about a year ago.

Recently bought a box for $90 something, from memory it was $15.05 a quart. Got it from the local Mobil supplier. He reckons it's pretty popular.

    Man, some expensive oil changes!!
I thought $72 bucks for 5 litres was bad.

Been reading a lot about this oil business lately. Seems Mobil1 might be the go. Does anyone know where to get it at an affordable price on the Sunshine Coast?

Thanks Skulz. Where is the Mobil depot and what do you pay for it?

" they say " you can even cook your fish & chips in it....but seriously use gear oil in your big twin gear boxs....try the Spectro 6 speed fully synthetic if you want something good...
