Today i went on the Odins Warriors poker run. We left Cairns and went up the Kuranda range to Mareeba, down the Rex Hwy past Port Douglas, down the coast road to Ellis Beach, and then back to Cairns. There was a count of 133 bikes in total but then more turned up. The sun was out and it was a ripper fast days ride. I started off with an Ace, then a 10, then a Queen, then another Ace, then last of all another Queen....i got a gift voucher for a bike tyre worth $200.00, a $100.00 voucher at another bike shop, and $50.00 cash, which i gave to my mates young boy, because he drew out the last card for me. So i had a great day out, and we only saw 1 boy in blue who tryed to turn around and do a bike for speeding but the other riders wouldn't let him turn around to give chase....i think that is what they call "sux shit", and i love it when a plan comes together.
At least the Filth in Qld let you have the feedom to ride without harrassment. Congrats on the good poker hand, nothing like a great day out with a bunch of other riders, then a win to top it off.
