Just thought that I would share this information.

My Fatboy is due for it's first service so I thought that I would call up the Stealer that I bought it from. I ask "how much for the first service?" $460.00 is the reply. I bought the bike from you do I get a discount. We are running a special over December so yes we will do it for $400.00.

I ring up another dealer and he tells me straight off $380.00, I decide to ring one more dealer. He asks did I buy the bike from them and I say no but how much would it cost me to get the bike serviced from you guys..$330.00 straight off. I booked it in with these guys.

Now I am thinking that although I am getting the service done at this dealer will there be any hidden costs? Has anyone been ripped off this way before?

You really should find out what the service covers, and if it includes "obvious" materials like oil etc.

I agree with Bonkerz, as them if $330 includes parts and labour. And don't forget to get the persons name.

Okay, got the bike in early and was first off the rank. The service took about 2 1/2 hours and I have to say they have done an excellent job well worth the $330.00 as quoted. The bike is running really well and was handed back to me in show room condition, beautifully washed and polished.

Frasers Sydney was the dealership and I believe that they have seen the light, I will definitly be supporting them in the future, their customer service was great, coffee on tap, friendly, good advice etc, so well done to these blokes. I am a happy camper
