    Skull,

The first pipes I ever had on my bike were Cycle Shack slip-ons, these were the loudest pipes I've ever heard. The were great fun for about 10 minutes then I got sick of the noise, they would give me a headache after about 40 minutes on the bike. I got rid of them and have had the Screamin Eagle Street Performance mufflers now for about a year. The SE SP's I think are great they give decent performance and a decent sound without being annoying to yourself or neighbors. If anything they are slightly on the quiet side but I'd much prefer that for practicality than pipes that are way too loud.

I like that stealers have factored in the US-appreciated dollar impact on stock they were already holding. That is a bullshit effort (but typical and expected, all the same).

i think my S&S slip-ons were a good balance between noise and performance. Only set off one car alarm so far..

Off your topic here, but i noticed on your bike in the picture that your running the heavy breather, has that done much for power? does it increase your redline? and cost including recalibration..? i was thinking about doing this to mine soon!

    cheers

Hi guys...just went through the process of buying said se slipons...still in box, haven't used them as yet. Stealer quoted $515.00.....purchased fron Chigago Harley for $263 US. (Don't know if I want to spend another $600 just to improve exhaust note..re PCom etc...as already have Stg 1 se A/C kit on.)

Also have spare SE Stg 1 A/C kit (new, unopened)...must put on For Sale segment)
