It hasn't happened to me, but i have seen a few pics in the past of tyres worn on 1 side. I thought and heard that it was the road camber. Up here we have lots of corners and stuff so i supose that helps. I got 17000km out of my Avon tyres last time, RoadTrain(RT) gets more.

did some measuring today laser and string line wheel is offset 3mm on the left hand side brother recons this causes gyro affect on wheel so you corect it by pulling in left hand side of bars as you are riding to straighten it up nothing to do with tripple clamp measurements put it down to slack manafacturing . i think that makes sence .

I posted about front and rear tyre wear last year, as Wozza states it's predomenantly road camber. I modified my riding a bit by staying more to the centre of the lane, this has reduced the front side wear a lot. When I ride my softy hard, front tyre wear  accelerates rapidly. On my third front and coming up to my fourth rear in 25000kms

I'm looking at replacing my front wheel with a slightly smaller diam and larger tyre, hope to improve handling and maybe reduce wear

Should I slow down?????????? nah!!!! just keep piling it on

Have just fitted 2 new tyres to the 07 Fatty but I didn't notice more wear on either side. Interesting to hear what life you all get from your tyres. My original Dunnies were just about gone at 14,000. Might have had another thou or so but I'd rather play it safe with tyres.

I put an Avon Cobra on the rear but it seems another Dunlop is the only option so far for the front. Buggered if I know how to get 20 or 25ks out of them.

My front tyre lasted 8,000 klms but was truely rooted, very eneven wear. The dealer said it was insufficient tyre preasure which was probably correct I,ve since bought a 12v compressor  and check my tyres regularly. rear tyre has lasted 11,500 klms . BUT before the 8,000klms service I fitted drag bars which were noticably steering right when I was going straight. I had this fixed at  the service and since all has been good so far, front tyre as new just no nipples.

most riders take right hand corners more aggressively than left hand corners. Not as sharp a turn so generally taken at a greater speed. Even happened on my Suzuki gn250 25 or 30 years ago

the front wheel is slightly to left to make up for the weight of the primary so then u have the camber of the road ,roundabouts it all adds up,my front tyre is the same ,rooted at 10k

You find that camber has alot to do with it. The camber on the road tends to pull the bike to the left. therefore as you ride you push on the right bar to correct it. Its called counter steer. Counter steer causes excessive wear on the tyre on the right side. If all roads were dead flat we wouldnt encounter this problem. Anyway stop ya whingin ya buggers. 35000ks out of a tyre aint bad. i can only get 10000. (maybe due to weight factor)

kuddos to that joe when I was ridding gixxers on the road Id be lucky to get 1,700 k out of a back tyre, and when I raced I did note eccesive tyre were more on the left side due to feeling more comfortable draggin my left  elbow and bumb cheek on the road as appossed to my right, I would hate to think of what I have spent on tyres but then again what ever it is, it was worth every last cent
