Another new member from WA, I joined up about a week ago, but have been ghosting the site for a few months, I haven't chucked  a pic of my ride in as it is a standard 08 Sportster 1200 custom vivid black, only mod so far is S&S slip on mufflers.

This is my first Harley, I woke up one morning in July and told the misses "I'm having a mid life crisis and I need a Harley", she simply said cool when are we going to look, so we went and looked that day and ordered the bike the same day, and I wish I had one years ago, I'm always finding excuses why I need to go for a ride.

This is an excellent site and enjoy reading all the comments and advice, I have already learnt a lot.

Hey Bakes, that sounds a bit like my storey. Said to the wife I was thinking about buying a bike and she said "if you are going to get a bike get a Harley and if you want to take me on it get a Fatboy." We're lucky I guess

Welcome, and Harleys are much better than good looking chicky babes when having a mid life crisis. They usually end up costing less money in the long run.
