Hey all,

             this is a run that i was handed at cranbourne on the moto gp weekend. i will be going so i thought i would share it with the rest of you. i will be going with at least one mate at this stage (shaggs) & Mrs Swoody or one our kids. will be trying to round up a few more before then so hope to see a few of you on the trip.

Hey! This sounds pretty good.

I know that road pretty well from countless trips up n down. I did it on a 250cc late on a cold night too... Wasn't much of a match for the Pentland Hills (or their cross breezes).

Ballarat is great and the reservoir and Anthony's Cutting are nice little parts to trip through. And giving Kryal Castle a buzz would be funny too.

Would be nice to have something for a little more time for something in Ballarat before the earlish return time...

Sounds good. Glad some noise is expected, given that there are non-HD bikers who might not dig/be jealous of the pipes n sound. Not that I expect we'd give a 'flying' though...

I have a Eureka bandana/face mask to wear as well to get into the swing of things. Handy for MVFC matches too, hooligan style.

Anyone filling up at the Todd Rd servo given its a Shell and Optimax is shite for our bikes, right? I think I'll get Vortex or Ultima in Port Melbourne beforehand...

All depends on whether the King's back on the road in time, that bloody drive belt issue's reared it's ugly head again (Apparantly it's all been because of worn Swingarm Bushes and mounts, plus the front engine mount's fugged, oh and there's a small rear cyl exhaust leak. So $2100 and a whole lotta swearing later, hopefully everything will be back on track)
They're waiting on parts before they'll confirm when it'll be done. Meanwhile I've been stuck in the cage for the last 4 days so if you see me when you're out for a ride, and you lipread the word "Bastard" it's only cos I'm jealous.

Nah Finny, happened in Melbs and I had no easy way to get it back to Ballarat. Ringwood PS is just around the corner from the missus' place, so I limped it round there. Will end up costing more in labor but fuggit, I just never want to see a drive belt in more than one piece again.

Pitty you didnt have 1 of our numbers , I could of taken it up there on me trailer.
