    OK,

I've bitten the bullet, and decided to do my own servicing on my 07 Road King Classic. Why haven't I done it before? Not through lack of ability/tools/whatever, just lazy I guess.

Anyway, you bods on the forum have made me feel guilty enough to do it. Thanks.

I've got the service manual. Now, the next thing I need is a tool to remove the oil filter. Does Repco/Supercheap have anything suitable? Do I get the HD one?

    Please advise...

    Gonzo.

I got one a few weeks ago from Peter Stevens here in Adelaide they had them in stock. Around $14. Was a Drag Specialties I think. Had the notch cut out and all.

I use a bit of seat belt screwed to a piece of tube that is flatterned and squared off to fit a ratchet.

    Thanks guys.

Now I look at my (NEW) workshop manual, and it says HD-42311 not HD-44067. What does this mean? Do both tools fit?

    Gonzo.
