Just got the speedo/tacho part # 74746-08.

Had a look at the service manual and the instructions, looks simple enough to do the swap over. The only concern is the odometer reading. When I ordered it 2 weeks ago I gave them the odometer reading, but since then ive racked up 200km. So dose anyone know what the go is there? I dont want to start the installation and fuck the k's on the odometer.

yeah, thats what I was thinking. I just dont want to jump into it till I make sure that I wont fuck it up. Theres got to be someone on here thats done it before?
Why do they ask for the odometer reading? Is that just a record/legal requirement when ordering???

 

I ordered my Spun alluminium face Speedo/Tacho with 500klms from the US and changed over when I got to the 500k's. Installation is simple..just plug and ride.

Looks shit hot...when I get home t'night I'll post a photo.

I have the same Speedo/Tacho combo as Wildchild. Ordered it before I got the bike but it took the dealer 3 weeks to get it. In the mean time I did 1500 km so now I have to add 1.5K to the reading.

That's no big deal but as Scotty correctly wrote I will have to inform a buyer if I decide to sell.

wacked it in this arvo, works & looks great. I like how you can change the colour of the lighting and the tacho part off course.

anythings better that stock..looks great...don't forget to watch the road and not the tacho. hahaha

I have also just installed the speedo racho  can you tell me does  your Klm stay visible even with the ignition off.
