Why i ask is a bloke came into work yesterday on a street glide,Nice and loud, when i was having a boo peep they were stock pipes but F--kin loud, He came out to check on his bike and saw me lookin at it. I had to ask and he told me he had them drilled out. When he left it was setting off car alarms( Very funny)

I would always suggest: Don't be a cheap arse just get some slip on's if they're on a budget.

I do have 2 mates that run drilled out stocks, no damage, and warranty is still OK too, but I don't it does em much good as tuning is out slightly and SHITLOADS of backfire on decellaration. Either way does'nt sound great to me, too much crackle not enough depth.

Kool flames at night tho!! :-)

thought thats all harleys were good for.   revving the shit out of em and making as much noise as possible to piss everyone off. fuck you tractors! certainly didn't buy it for the raving 10/10 handling and speed reviews.

I prefer the note more than just loudness. But its a bit like electric guitars, you have to be giving the amp some goose to get the tone you're after!
