There last month a lot of the roads are poor the road between Burnie and Stanley is under repair and was a sheet of grey slime (ask the locals), but its all worth it such a top place. If your going on the Spirit think about a cabin the sleeping chairs are OK if you like snoring coughing farting and talking, try one of the inside benches but the security sometimes make you move. If your going to fang the only thing you will see is the next bend (plenty of them) so take your time and enjoy the beauty of Tassie. A few years back on a ride we had two inches of snow at Easter in Strahan so watch the weather forecast.

All pubs and roads are good in Tassie. Takes three days to do the trip around the island, west coast is remote and rugged and can be wet, east coast sunnier and motorcycle paradise, more towns for tea and scones or beer. Plenty of other roads through the middle. You'll enjoy it which where ever way you go. Just don't do what a lot of the mainlanders do - they are not used to the thight corners an come off their bikes.
