Has anyone here taken the baffles out of the stock pipes  on a  Sporty  883?  Is it easy to do?  Can it do damage?  How does it sound, Loud?

Hey RT I removed the baffles on a spare set of std mufflers and drilled half the 3mm holes out to 6mm, was a lot of work and made little difference. Do you think that they are law attractingly loud with the holesaw mod? 18mm hole? and drill through both the baffle plates on each muffler? I live at the end of a 3k dead end street and use the bike often so I don't want to make waves. Thanks

I drilled Shelleys 07 sporty baffles out and it sounds real good.
A cheap way of turning a sewing machine into a Harley.
Haven't checked out performance yet.

Can you describe exactly how you cut out the baffles.
