Has anyone gone on a long ride on a softail with a Badlander seat on it 300km or more ?? I am thinking of getting one and I am wondering how comfortable they are. Any two up experience would help as well. Thanks in advance to all who reply.

Rode to Qld and back from Tassie. I did 600km days and the last 100km were like sitting on a brick. Pillion is for town trips only, not very comfortable on longer rides.

Well, I bought the badlander and took it for a 50km ride and it's a bit hard but the riding position feels good and the missus didn't complain so alls good.

I liked the Badlander, the wife recons it would be better on the guard. the only saving grace was the soft bits were on the seat and protected.

I had to get a bigger seat for her. and she loves me

had a badlander on a dyna & loved it for looks & feel for me but when picking out my fatty it was the seat that sealed the deal for Mrs Swoody. she hated the bad lander but i think it was more to do with the lack of back rest/ sissy bar. badlander & a back rest, i don't think so. i'm hoping santa brings me one lol
