    Howdy All,
I am trying to install Original HD forward control on 2008 SB. The installation instruction refers to original HD Service Manual for instruction on removing primary chaincase cover and primary chaincase housing.

Unfortunately my service manual is still on order (only had bike for 2 weeks.) Would anyone kindly scan in the pages from their Service Manual that reference removal/installation of the primary chaincase covers/housing and email/post links to vtsyrlin@optusnet.com.au or vtsyrlin@yahoo.com.
Would very much appreciate any help.
    Cheers

    Vlad

ps. I know some members here chose not to remove primary as it's not 100% necessary, however I would like to follow the installation instruction to a "t".

    Thanks Daggs,

Just received my manual this morning from Zannotti motors. Bargain compare to what they sell him down here.
Thanks for the offer though.. appreciated.

45 + postage but I got it together with leather jacket, bike cover, front bullet headlight, HD belt, willie g mirrors, progressive 812HD 11" shocks.
So can't tell you the individual postage costs. All I could say is that Peter Stevens down here makes a 100-120% profit on each part!

gotta agree Trusty... whilst I did my pipes etc without manual and just used the guides that came with goodies plus internet I then had a need for the manual for something else and like you could not wait for my next buy from US so purchased locally.

Hey, thanks for the feedback fellas. I'm buying my bro-in-law a man for his 07 fxst for 21stb'day. I'll chase these guys up.

You guys are right, you need it for the servicing. If you can do it yourself it really gives you some satisfaction and makes you feel good about riding the effing thing. I did my 1500km service about a month ago. Now don't get me started on which oils and primary lube and................

Just back from a squirt of about 250kms to Canberra and back - what an afternoon!!!!!!

    Happy new year gents!!!

    Ciao

I was shocked to discover that there was nowhere on the net that some copyright breaking individual had posted a scanned copy. I have downloaded manuals for my last 2 bikes (non-harley) and many cars. HD must track people down and hit them with a big stick eh?
