    Hi FXD09

I have an 06 Dyna, 95ci high compression motor, SE cams & SE race tuner. Has SE slip ons,  they are the Mk2 model. Have been looking at slash cut S&S which I can get locally (ACT) for about $600 but apparently they will be heaps louder and unlike most riders thats not what I'm after!! Also looking at the V&H 2 into 1 pipe, at least then I could change baffles to get a quieter sound.

I like the stock look (although not the newer Dyna air cleaner cover - looks like it's melted!!) and am using a K&N 3910 filter in the stock a/c housing. Had a SE cleaner before that but it was one of the newer paper ones - no good. The 3910 has made an improvement, mine was running rich but the plugs seem to be a little cleaner now with the K&N. It has a massive surface area and like all K&Ns is reusable. Of course, it won't fit in your stock air cleaner housing as its the oval shape but they might have something new !!

    cheers

    Sime

Saw this air cleaner at the HOG Rally last weekend. Haven't seen one like it before, looked pretty tough. I'm guessing it's an American import??? Anyone else know about this style of aircleaner? Looked like your usual SE cleaner under the chrome cover.

the AN big sucker or the kurakyn Hi-5 are simple & work well.
Anything with a K&N filter works well.
