I am curious as why most Heritages have the original 10" touring bars replaced with wide looking pull back bars? If there is a good reson can you let me know as I an wondering why as I have a few issues with the standard bars.

I changed the original 4" pull back risers and bars because they sat me too upright and if I hit a fair bump, I'd get jarred down my back.

I put on 2" straight risers and western bars which leaned me forward a bit more and no more back troubles. (that was on an '05 deluxe and I'm 6')

i fitted burleigh wide westerns . fitted me much better than stock... wasn't because I thought they were gay. having said that i now am thinking of 14 inch apes if i can get my mind around the fricken cost !!!

I am going to borrow a mates Fat Boy and see if they are more comfy Pizzlin and I reckon the narrow beach bars look allright .
