If you go to the ad and then to the conatct details it's a Melb number but the email address is an American company selling cold wheather gear and only has a 1877 number.

Even Morgan and Wackers would give him twice that price in a blink of an eye, and that's saying something.

scam, scam, scam. had this on another thread with jilli just a bit ago. i've seen this a number of times at least 10 that i can think of. comes up on ebay all the time & i've put a stop to a number of ads too. the deeper you dig the more excuses as to why you can't inspect the bike before laying out your hard earned. i went down this path a year or so ago for a fatty that was about $5k to cheap, rego & vin number check out cause the bikes not stolen but it doesn't belong to the seller. i think they get their bike pictures from other ads or shows etc. fuckers should be shot & any fucker that goes for the full ride should be shot also. IMO.

Sorry I am replying so late mate, but I have been busy, just moved yesterday to England , UK with my family. The bike is still there in Australia, left it at a shipping company in Pine Creek, NT.
Bike has been left to me in a will by my uncle, I am not a bike fan, never had one, don't even have a licence to drive, but I can tell you the bike runs perfectly, it is fully paid, no accidents.
If you are still interested, than please email me back so I can explain how we can do this without me being in Australia!
    thanks

Yep, I got this answer when I asked for details of a very cheap Sportster on Bikepoint.
The number plate was a NSW plate, the guy provided me with a REVS check that had been done in QLD.
I rang Transport dept in NSW, and checked the plate number against owner details, no match at all.
When I got too cheeky with my emailed questions, Surprise - the bike had been sold!!

    SCAM!!SCAM!!

    Yeah, too true!
What intrigued me was why on earth anybody would leave a bike in Pine Creek, NT.
There's not a lot in that little town!!

These ads are very common on various web sites. I have been noticing them for at least 6months. On trading post quite a lot. just some scumbag trying to scam you out of your hard earned.

If someone knocks on your door and asks to look at your arse, under no circumstance show them your arse. This is a scam, they just want to see your arse.
