Got on my bike tonight 07 Softail Classic and was riding home and came to traffic lights and the engine stopped. Started straight away but refused to idle. It done this every time I came to a stop and had to hold the throttle open slightly to make sure it didn't stall. When I got home I noticed that the throttle cables were at a funny angle and crossed over each other. I looked in the manual and it states that the cables are secured to the right shocker by the clamp. I had a look and there is nothing there to secure the cables to. I have just cable ties them to the handle bars for now, but am wondering where they are secured to normally. No pics in the manual either.
New to Harley's so bear with me.

Well that didn't fix it either so back to shop. lucky it is still under warranty.
Will have to wait and see what they have to say.. Another question? What are the S&S slips on like. I was going with SE's but changed my mind. Or can you suggest another slip on muffler.
Bombed out on the baloney cuts as they are out of stock but they have slash downs for the same price as S&S for HD adelaide. IThey have 3 sets left and the next lot are double the price so I might jump in now.
