No start on 08 fatboy

    has any one seen this yet

    some different locations with fob in pocket it will not reset alarm, gloves off and put key in and turn it off then gin around and maybe she will go maybe she will not. the other day i was at a servo to juice her up and bugger me no start, ginned around and nothing, got the shits so i pushed it out of the road and sat there bringing up some words i dont say to often. a bloke walks over and said he has had the same problem and reckons it is interferance. the only thing around was a taxi, lo and behold he drove off and the tractor fired up, WTF, coincidence or am i going crazy btw last time it happened i was accros the road from pt ade police station!

    Scotty is correct, but just to add a bit more, I did notice in the book that they recommend that you change the battery on your fob every 12 months.

    This issue has been talked about before and also on another forum, seems that certain things can affect the fob, like phone towers etc.

    This has been discussed before and all of the above are correct. One other thing to remember is to keep the fob in a pocket of its own definitly at least 8-12 inches from your own mobile phone as this can affect it too.

    mate they need your ignition key and your fob to change the pin. so if they had that they would just take the bike and not worry about chaging the pin!
