Anyone tried to get Harley parts from Canada. Thought it might be cheaper than the US at the moment although I am unsure what our dollar is compared to the Canadian.

l stopped buying from Canada over a year ago now, it was alaways expensive shipping, but now!! a whole lot worse, not only the lousy $ exchange rate but costs are higher than the states since its gotta come a fair bit further, ive stopped buying from the usa for a while as well, last item l bought cost $us25 landed price here totaled $au87.00.. dollars gunna have to go up to at least *80 before l start again.....

Hey Red.....LOL......maybe you should do some research, our dollar has more value against the Canadian than the US dollar.

    $1 AUS = 60c US

    $1 AUS= 78c Canadian.

if you had to chose from us or canadian at the moment, you would go canadian. probably would be still cheaper than buying within oz. only thing would be a ya let down is the postage and i dont know how cheap canadians are selling there stuff for compared to the yanks.

Hey Trevster,  thanks for the offer mate, I had a look at some parts at a Canadian dealer.....flush mount fuel caps over there are $229, which is $288 OZ, with postage would work out a little dearer than here as I can get the same here for $315.  Is there any outlets like Chicago Harley that give 20% off ??
