Do any of you guy's know what the standard length (eye to eye) of the rear shocks for a 1999 softail is. Google is telling me that the stock shocks 54508-89A are 13" long, I am looking to clarify this before pulling the trigger on a set of Bitubo shocks (87-99 models are 11.25" eye to eye), they might lift it to high. 

I bought this bike a couple of years ago but have only ridden it once, I rode it up the Gillies when I moved up here, scrapped out all the way up the range, the shocks are toast, someone in the past has fitted a lowering kit to it as well, I want to put it back to standard height or as close as I can.
