glad you got that off your chest wozza?....................lol. Good point though, and it's only the unfortunate few that have experienced this merry go round. Fingers crossed for the rest of us. I guess this is an issue for a body like the MRA.

I dread the day i need to claim.............From what i have heard on the forum its not going to be a very streamlined process.........Took 3 months for one company to fix my work van under my buisness insurance for a small engine fire.......Seems like that is the norm for these mobs....Not good enough.......this must be killing Jilli.....

Only 1 assesor QBE like up here and he was away for 4 days, that was the only delay I can blame on some one else.
The rest of the 3mth wait was for non-original parts I choose, 1 of which had a manufactuing defect.
If I had gone with standard parts the tank was the only item not in stock in Oz and so work would have started earlier so the bent frame would have been discovered earlier and I would have got the one that was in Oz before it went elsewhere.
Total paid to 3 Insurance company's over 27 year, about $500 more than QBE paid to fix my bike.

i got rear ended a couple of years ago by a 4wd with mrs swoody on the back. she copped the bull bar & her back has never been the same since. we had just picked the bike up & had been on it maybe half an hour. i stressed to bike shop that i wanted it back asap as the moto gp was coming up in a month. 4 months later i got it back with a sorry mate we had a lot of bikes to fix. reckon i was happy, i called them every week sometimes twice to see what the hell was going on. the insurance company wasn't to blame this time (AAMI) but the bike shop. also when i pointed out that the paint wasn't right & the repairs weren't not done 100% i was informed that i should contact the insurance company & complain even though they did the repairs. go figure. i just sold the bike & the owner of the shop was killed not long after on his own bike. i really wouldn't wish this on anybody but i can't say i was sad to hear it.
