    Ho, 6-8 double whiskies is no mean feat, that has to be half a bottle or so  !
    I'd imagine drinking would be a big part of business in Asian countries ( i guess here as well). 

    I'm thankful i held onto the house - best decision in my life !
    I almost had the paperwork all finished to sell, but pulled out at the last minute .
    I did have to sell up all the toys, and had no bike for a short while though .

    Drinking was a huge part, especially in Vietnam, Laos, China, Mongolia and South Korea. In Vietnam my key customer found an employ who could drink heaps, just to see how much I could drink... 5 hours later I convinced him that this was going to end in disaster for both of us. Heaps of stories that are alcohol related, including in a couple of dry countries 😂😂😂

    Separately invested the money otherwise it may have been two houses. 

    May yet move back to Laos as my current relationship is a little too complicated. I ride a Yamaha RR25 up there at the moment, but it's painful uncomfortable to long runs on shit roads outside Vientiane. Looking for a good quality second hand Triumph Scrambler 400 in Thailand as a starter. Import duty into Laos is 200% 😔  have contacts so will see how that works.

    I am looking at building a self contained entertaining unit next to the pool at my daughters house which can also be used for me to stay for extended visits. That way they can use it in the summer months by the pool.

    I'm back up in Thailand and Laos in February :)
