I just bought this kit off ebay and noticed it was made in China.

China aye, I dunno mate, if they are not up to task it's gunna get messy real quick.
On the packet does it say the pads are made out of Polymide-Stanyl or PA46? That's the good plastic that Cyco use.

Not everything made in China is crap. But I'd be wary.

I might compare them with the old ones when I pull them out and make a decision whether to use them or not.

    Probably your best bet.

Bit hard to tell from a picture, but they look cheap from here.

Don't know if these photos are any better but I'm still waiting for the pushrods that are probably coming from China as well.
I got a parcel delivered today and there was one bearing in it and that has Chinese writing on it too.
    What the fuck?

    Pulled the tensioners out yesterday.
Just under 60K on them. Probably not as bad as I was expecting but glad I did it anyway.
Don't know if it would have affected things but I've been using full synthetic Penrite oil and I have been a bit slack with the oil changes.
