    Gday,
Just had a tractor kindly flick up a nice big rock into my fuel and given it some unwanted ‘texture’.
Any advice on where to get another tank other than all the second hand dented ones on eBay or through Harley Heaven?
Or is this repairable? It’s not the original tank, was upgraded to a larger one before I got her but happy to go back to a peanut.
    Cheers.

G'day, it's repairable from what I can see,  there are lots of options in the aftermarket locally, Parts Outlet, VPW, EasyR and others no doubt, they would all need painting to suit though so you probably wouldn't save anything by going that way.
You can get some painted replacement tanks through HD but they spendy and wait times are long, other option is a second hand ones on eBay as you mentioned, not one from Japan, they want a fortune, Facebook market place is another, they are all hit and miss though, might leave the sender dent free but not arrive in the same condition.

    Lots of options.
A quick patch up and rattle can (or a bit better) until you find one is a start.
An easy job for a panel shop to do a "quicky" to get you on the road.
It will be a bog job, but nothing wrong with that, it doesn't look deep.

Or you could split the top and bottom with a pinstripe and just repair and repaint the bottom, and then a clear coat over the lot.
You could also make the bottom a different colour if you wanted .

    Appreciate the options, thanks.
Repairing sounds the best option I reckon. Any tips for going about this?
