Im from Ballarat area and take interest in bikes for sale in the area. Ther was an ad worded almost the same this time last year. I think the guy must preorder what is expected to be a hard to get in the new mdel line up, then try and sell it to an inpatient sucker at a premium price. Cant recall what last years bike was, but as I said earlier, it was presented in a similar way. How do I remember, I was doing all the research for my new heritage this time lat year.

He's also sold a few Nightrod specials, and another Fat Bob.

He's had this Fat Bob on Ebay about 3 times, I bidded it up to $23k last time (knowing it would be below reserve!)

haha, not a bad scam at all, You get a bit of coin for being organised and getting a pre-order in, and they get a shiny new bike which costs a bit extra for not having to wait. No-one gets ripped off really, New Prices for these things are readily available on the net and in the mags, if you aren't prepared to pay the extra you just order through the dealership.. and wait.

Either that or you're not doing your research and obviously have too much cash anyway.

My father always told me patience is a virtue. Good things come to him who waits. (cant say I paid a lot of attention to this)
