Help needed, please. 2012 Ultra Classic. Battery is dead flat and will not come up at all. nothing when I turn on the ignition. Can I take it out without setting off the alarm? I have searched.

If it was me, i would try a spare battery, hooked up in parallel, as in jumper battery, and go through battery removal procedure.
Make sure you have your fob handy.

Thanks 408, yes I have been considering doing this. There is a supacheap up the road and they have the smart compact lithium jump starters for $150. I may do that, would be handy to have around anyway. Cheers.

The bike should start with a battery pack hooked up to it, but it will probably not continue to run when you disconnect it.
To pull the battery, you need to have sufficient voltage available to the ignition system to have ignition on with fob present so you can pull the main fuse or remove the battery.
