I've always had a soft spot for big Kwakas. If I was 30 or 40 years younger, I'd have a go at the Ninja - sounds like it would go like stink.

What is the motivation for the production of these bikes? I can kind of see it from a performance perspective. Though how much more performance do you need given what is already on offer? I guess if some is good, more must be better :-)  Fuel consumption? Not sure.  I'm not certain this is a problem that needs to be solved on the emissions front - I think motorcycles are at the bottom of the carbon producing heap. While it all adds up, I'd think you were chasing percentages in this regard.

I'm with you on the big Kwackas , got myself a  gtr1400 10 months ago ,  i  have a 650 v strom which was my  main bike ,  bullet proof , cheap to run  and  good for a bit of dirt ,  my low rider was  the 2 up bike ,   bike when my mates go out and   the bike  for  overnighters or  longer jurneys ,, since i got this kwacka ,  there both gathering dust ,   its just so smooth  , handles so well  , and that powerband  is awsome , , there an awsome bike ,   biggest problem i have with it is that power   once your  up around 100 klm ph its only a slight twist and   your off like a herd of turtles jeez there a fast bike , i have to force myself to  use the other bikes ,  and even then i grab the kwacka  fob ,, i only   put them back when i remind myself they don't make them any more  in a few years they will be hard to find , lucky there   known to do  2-300 thousand klm  if looked after
