    G'day,
I was on my way to the granddaughter's net ball game today, [31/5/25] and stopped at the lights at Old Windsor Rd. when about c. 200 bikes rode past. All manner, sports, H,D's, three wheelers, sidecars. The whole gamut, including a good looking HV green HD with a 21" front wheel.
Is there a website that shows up coming runs and shows, and, are there still rallies?  It has been a while, I broke an ankle about  5 years ago and have been a bit slow recovering. Add to that my trusty Mac died, with all my links and bookmarks.

    G'day,
a quick search, the Alpine rally is still going. The last time I was there, I woke in the morning and thought that the tent didn't look right .I reached up and went tap, tap tap. The roof was frozen. Later, coming to start the bike, discovered a frozen mouse under the seat. Pulled in the clutch, SNAP, went the cable. Being prepared,[remember, pack everything]  I had a small Vice grip. With some  tape the temp repair lasted a few months.  Remember, always be prepared, ride for the slide, etc. etc. Here endeth the lesson. Please ignore me once I start on the rum or cheap vodka.
    p.s. any one going ?

You rode around for a few months with the clutch cable held together with tape and vice grips? As a card carrying member of the Australian Tightarse Association, I salute you :-)
