Was flicking thru youtube and ran across a guy who has brought up some "interesting" info on the Port Arthur shootings. Things like the AR15 used was actually surrendered to Vic police after the Vic government banned semi autos after the hoddle street shootings. A Farmer handed the weapon in to police who rather than dispose of it gave it to their Special operations guys to use for several yrs. He goes on to list a huge list of coincidences leading up to the shooting ....its interesting as well that all documents etc have recently been locked away for a further 75yrs. Straight up I want to say I'm no conspiracy nut job, I've read books on this, articles by all sorts of nutters with wild theories, I've had Tasmanians tell me outright it was a massive cover up but that's just people that were not there saying stuff they believe to be true based on how they see the world or what they have been told.

Like yourself Hilly i am no conspiracy theorist but some of the things put forward as facts raise some questions. Biggest one as to why everything has been sealed not to be released for a further 75yrs. There's no reason one would think theres anything to hide if the version of events reported was accurate.
