    Hi guys,
Need a techie opinion on new bars. I'm looking to put buckhorn bars on my wide glide but I don't know if there is any potential problem with the angle of the brake reservoir. Anyone out there thinking it's gonna be a problem?

Functionally no problem, just got to be careful filling and bleeding, depending on the angles you sometimes need to loosen the clamps and move around to make that part easy.

Thanks. If it's only that, I'm going with the Bucks. Looked at Western and Beach bars but prefer the Bucks, they should be more comfortable.

Same - I always liked the look of Westerns. I bought a Wide Glide with a set on it - looked cool, but no good from a comfort perspective. Lanesplitting not so good either :-) I put stock buckhorns back on it and couldn't be happier with both the look and the comfort factor.

I put 3.5 inch straight risers on at the same time - the ones with the Westerns were stumpy and pulled back. They didn't suit either the look or the comfort of the Buckhorns. Hand position feels very natural to me like this.

Back on topic though - like Hilly said, no issue with functionality. And I don't have any issue filling the reservoir - just have to turn the bars full lock and she's level enough.

Thanks. Like the look of the Bucks but really like the comfort aspect. Thanks again guys for the info.
