There are some good oilskin ones and there are good artificial fabric ones, I've used RJ's for years, got them in 2012, still going but near life's end.

Have had my Hd ones for a while now and they fold back up to a small bundle. The only gripe is they ever so slowly leak around your neck from water running off your helmet. The dont leak at all on the Street Glide at spped as the aero actually defy gravity and draw the water forward and away from the chest area of the suit. Fucks with your head a bit after a 8/10hr day in the saddle when your tired.

Well lets see how much water my suit is going to let in on Thursday....we have a cyclone hitting land right at my house on the sunny coast.

Most probable track now has the eye passing south of you PB, crossing the north side
    of Brisbane.
Bugga, was looking forward to the wet weather gear report.
We're doing some battening down here too, even though we're about 110 km inland. It will cross the Brisbane River valley as it wanders off to the west but probably south of here too.
    We'll see soon enough.

A mate sent me a really great app thats live tracking the cyclone....at this stage its tracking south of Caboolture and north of Bris Redcliffe / North Lakes is the prediction. Bear in mind we are a full two days away and many more twists and turns ahead with it. There's likely to be more people killed with the lunacy here on the coast as people have completely flipped out buying any and everything available...its like covid version 2 on steroids.

amongst other preps, spent yesterday chopping trees / branches anywhere near our aerial powerlines to our humpy just in case - have previously experienced what cyclonic winds can do....probably should have been done donkeys ago anyways, so certainly not a waste of time if cyclone does indeed go in south of us....once again - good luck all
