Was hoping for something new along the lines of old but there is not one bike in this model year that I would buy even if I had Elons bank account, I've never liked fairings, that's not a dig at you guys that do, that's just my preference, so that wipes most of them, the ones that are left do not speak to my soul.
Interesting that in the cruiser line(softails) there are 3 engine packages, all 117", wonder I do if it's 3 different cams with tune to suit? They call them Classic, Custom and Hi-Output, peak torque moves higher up the rev range with each so horsepower does as well. I have no doubt they are great to ride.

they made some small tweaks here and there I do like the changes on the LRS and LRST and that new iron horse colour, there is a chrome option with them now also, the ST has even length saddlebags now as the twin pipes are gone replaced with a 2-1, but $38k(nz) for a LRS and $43k for a LRST no thanks, I can get a brand new '24 Roadglide for that price, I'm happy to stick with mine for now

The poor old Road king still gets the 114 when the entry level Street bob gets the 117 ?
Even though the power output is basically the same .
I'd be pissed of if i wanted to buy a RK !!

There have been complaints about HD's models and the general direction of the company .What made Harley popular in the first place? Reality is different from common sense ,we might know little about business but collectively we know what is quintessential Harley. The execs merely need to ask the old timers what they would love to see on offer in future.Call them the new CVO's...so old timers let me start
A springer front ended chopper as seen in the 70's ,powered by the 117, with stage 4 kit. Peanut tank with at least 15 liter capacity (the original looks too small ). Upswept pipes, dual seat and sissy bar  metallic root beer paint job (or metallic black) ,forward controls small round LED headlight . "The 2025 easyrider"
Not quite as far raked out but you get the general idea.
    Next?

If I had to pick one it would be this one, ditch the little fairing, but then I'd still have to spend more on it, would need forward controls, a better exhaust, a cam(obviously) and a tune, best part of 40k gone and still not quite right. Go like the be-jesus though I'd bet.

I see the Street bob as being a good base .
128 kit & Cam , change to a bigger tank and better bars, and spoke wheel option - bargain !!

I think one thing HD got better this year in my opinion is the colours like the LRS you posted(Mystic Shift) along with the Iron horse metallic and my favourite the Midnight Firestorm- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbQjaILEO5w

If you want that colour (mystic shift) Hilly that's an extra $2850nz, I don't imagine it will sell very well at that price

Hilly i have it on good authority......NO!  Seems HD are doing the same as before that if a dealer sells a bike overseas they get sanctioned...they did it with CVO. At the end of one of our USA trips i tried to buy a CVO from sound Harley in Seattle and the DP Dwaynne poured it all out why they cant and what would happen. Could have bought and shipped a std bike but no limited bikes.
