    hey,
anyone installed a Healtech Shift Light Pro yet?
I bought one for the Sporty and was wondering where you got the Tach signal from.
    cheers

I hooked a shift light up to the original, had a spare programmable 12 volt outlet, yours would of been the same wouldn't it?

Edit, mine was the custom module, been a few years.

Yes I have the same moduleā€¦ had a good chat with Mike today about it (the chap we got them from)  I have the shift light pro already and do like the extra features other the on/off function from the quickshifter box.

OK, someone has to ask , is a shift light useful on the street ?
The two scenarios I see are drag racing (track) or bikes with no Tacho .
My "shift light" is usually the rev limiter .
One thing I know is when I'm "up it" and don't have time to watch the Tach .

I remember years ago when I was pit crewing for a drag bike , I set up an in-helmet LED shift light .
This was before LED's were a big thing.

I looked it up, it does have a lot more functionality as you said, also I see there is a new trigger for the "easy"  module as well, wonder if that can be retrofitted to the one we have?
Did Mike have any ideas on your tacho pickup?

I set my shift light up because I wanted to run my bike on the new drag strip they were going to build in Townsville, they got the race track part done before I left, in my "closed course" testing I had to gradually shift the rpm it came on lower to account for my slower than I thought reflexes, it's one thing to say I'll set it just below red line and another to actually change it in time, things are really moving quickly at 6000rpm or there abouts.
