The listing from ktech-electrical is an old one and it looks as though they have gone more into RV and off-grid setups.
They do not advertise the Power Crank motorcycles batteries anymore.
The kicker for me is that the brand has been around for a while and the warranty has gone out from 2 years to 5 years.
The complete motorcycle range in the Power Crank is available from Supercheap.
Need to check on the charger required.

That would do it, has a wake up built in if it's ever needed, 5 years is a bloody good warranty on a battery for sure.
You gunna be guinea pig? 😁

Got a Black Friday special last night before they finished. Didn't have $200 in the budget for the charger though.
Supercheap says it doesn't fit my bike but the specs from the kteck site have it the same dimensions as the HVT-1.

    Sweet 👍
If the blurbs are right you won't need a charger anytime soon anyway.

Well this will be interesting !
Power Crank just looks like another import company that re-badges Chinese batteries ( i guess they nearly all do !)
Very little info on their website, and no mention of Lithium motorcycle batteries.
I hope it works well, but I am skeptical .

The SSB Lithium has good specs, but SSB lie ! ( like there HVT-1 that says 450cca - but they don't measure that )
I'm curious about the 18ah rating - that is unusually high for a lithum. 6-8ah is the norm in this size .
They cheat here by using the 20 hour (C20) rate instead of the 10 hour rate for starting batteries.

Motobatt does their own version as well     MLX20UHD-HP

Yep SSB are fibbers, it's all very interesting, 408 has a sturdy engine in his bike, it will certainly give the battery a work out.

I have had 3 SSBs. They are a good battery until they are not. I get a year out of them but not often 2.
I am ready to try something else.
It appears these batteries might be good gear.
A 5 year guarantee is good value and buying from Supercheap gives that more certainty. I have found them to be good to deal with.
    Dont see a downside.

Haven't put it in the bike yet but it is a good lookin' battery  :)
It has a real good shelf life so I am happy to let it sit while I check out charger options.

Looking at the data sheet for that battery, I'm wondering what the lifespan would be sitting in a softail with a hot oil tank surrounding it.

The RJ predator mentions operating temp of 0-55c charge and -20 to 60c discharge , and the oil tank would be around 100c
I wonder what the warranty is ?  Likely 12 months i guess.

I see the genuine HD AGM 17.5ah batteries are $280 now, so double for the new RJ Lithium @ $560
I'm sure that one day they will become more reasonably priced .

The temp thing is a fair point, Dyna would be far more friendly in that respect, I don't fancy being a $500 guinea pig for the softy crowd, my HV-1 is still kicking, albeit on its last legs, 408's super cheap special or the HD offering have more appeal at this point.

I replaced my OEM battery with an HD OEM Lithium 2 years ago.the new battery has a 5 year warranty .The HD Lithium (and standard) battery  Charger has a plug that matches my bike's input plug that I let protrude outside the left side cover .Very convenient to place on trickle charge when the need arises . Indicated charge level is always above 12V and the bike, as a 131ci  fires up without delay. Overall excellent set up ...except it wasn't cheap.
