    I just read the yanks have parked a carrier 10kms off the coast of Iran, that's a serious bit of posturing.

    Wouldn't they have the shits if the Iranians anchored an oil tanker with a few missile launchers on it 20 kms off Los Angeles. Probably would sink it before it got that close.

    The USA Carrier's fleet is about 14 various ships and at least 1 sub along side , they are well protected

    I did some googling, turns out what I read was bullshit, apologies, I should of checked, seemed a bit in ya face kinda deal from a nation trying to keep a lid on tensions, said carrier is in the red sea, nowhere near the gulf, bet there is a sub there somewhere though.

    Yeah you've got to be careful where you get your information from these days. There's a lot of misinformation out there.

    Just out of curiosity but, I have often wondered how many nuclear bombs it would take to wipe the entire Middle East off the face of the planet.
    I reckon a couple of decent sized nukes should do the job.
