i wanna lower the rear end , has anyone done it and wish they didnt ? does it bottom out  , can you double ok and does it change the handleing ? i figure it might increase the rake slightly . cheers

I spoke to the techie at Trivett the other day, when they fit the lowering kit it is set at 1 inch and can be further lowered to 11/4 inch. The tech said that at this height you will bottom out. I was thinking of lowering my fatboy but decided against it.

Tried to drop mine 1' but ended up 1 1/4. Havent bottomed yet and my boot heels are still first to scrape

Dont try to fit em yourself if you havnt got a press to dis-assemble the shockies and an agro mood to undo the rear mounts       

used the lowering bolts on mine, it will bottom out occasionally when two up. On the darwin ride with all of my shit packed on the bike it didnt bottom out once.

I have had mine done I am not sure how it rides yet but they told me it is fully adjustable and won't bottom out when tightened right up when riding two up.
