Softail Speedo Drive

    Can the left hand speedo drive be dismantled? I need to reduce the length of the spacer to suit a different hub.

    If you’re talking about early softail evo till 95  you can  get them  machine down a bit 
    I can’t remember the exact amount I’ve had two done several years ago  to 
    Center the wheel more , you May have to centre the brake caliper to brake disc too 
    A good  machinist can take some off both inner and outside
