Its a interesting problem....show strength and sack him and another club swoops in and all is forgiven and life goes on for him....somehow guide these clowns through basic how to live like a adult lessons. Broncos are also negligent here as well....surely there's a compliance officer at the club who would check things like drivers licenses before handing out sponsors vehicles to unlicensed players like Mann.

I don't want to get all hypocritical because at his age I was a loose cannon but then I wasn't being paid millions to do a specific job either, I think there needs to be some ground rules at the NRL level so club hopping out of trouble can't occur, do the crime, do the time, and, it should not have come to this as you say but it's happening a lot now isn't it, maybe more boot camp and less "rockstar" as base level code of conduct in all clubs, hard one.

Settle down there Hilly. If you and I and probably the majority of people had got caught for all the stupid stuff we have done we wouldn't have a functional society cos we would all be in fuckin jail.
Maybe the NRL should start recruiting from the local Sunday School Choir. In saying that, you would have to weed out the troublemakers that probably dont even believe in God.
    Fuckin heathens.

So Hilly looks like there's now a "impartial" committee that is going to oversea these types of matters....that way neither the club or NRL  have to get involved and remain at arms length from these decisions. Some commentators are calling for a 12mth stand down from any NRL club if he gets sacked from Broncs. I can foresee some issues with that based on the simple fact he's a fucking idiot with no trade, skills or work ethic and would struggle to make 1million a season as a labourer ......unless he joins the CFMEU and works in the tunnel of course.

I understand the sentiment Evo, I was looking at the broader problem they have, the specifics of this one could see him do time, if it was my daughter with broken bones I would be hoping bubba snaps his neck in the watch house.

Sadly EVO if that was the case then the courts record in Qld aint that good, we see time and time again even worse repeat offenders in stolen cars kill people, let out on bail to repeat offending. There seems to be a shift in severity of sentence for what we consider relative low level crimes verses serious repeat offenders.

They need to grow a set and make an example of these entitled wankers.  If that was my missus and kid, the guy's kneecaps  would most likely have an accident with a hammer.  Civil court charges would also help against the tossa as well as the club for fostering the mentality.

Would you settle for him hanging himself with his toothbrush in the watch house?

Looking more like Josh has played his last game for the doggies, someone could score a good winger at a discounted price unless this new board goes after him.

I think his ability to play at this level as a winger has gone Hilly. This is a young fellas game and there's so many great wingers out there. See as well that Alfie Langer has been told hes not going to be the Broncs trainer next season..its sad but a good move to start sorting out this old school culture of the Broncs. I have seen him way to many times getting way beyond drunk and its not pretty, he aint a mellow drunk at all.

I think its also a bit strange that Kevie is still on the coaching team...a new start should mean just that.

Watching it, we have a good team, just not feeling it, I need a cup nationalism or a jab of patriotism or something.

international RL is still boring as bat sh#t compared to club NRL....every now & again Tonga or Kiwis may ambush Oz but generally it always plays out the same....Oz too dominant & not enough resources in other countries....RU has it downpat, AB's used to dominate, but no longer the case, which makes it a better spectacle for its fans....i wonder how much $ Kiwi fans lashed out in Chch yesterday to watch both their womens & mens sides go down - again ....

Not sure its boring but certainly the Aust team looked the goods over the Kiwis.....on this occasion. Remember when reality met expectation last series and the Kiwis gave it to Aust

I remember JT's field goal in a certain game in 2015, I do not remember much about last night's game, care factor is way down, this is what they need to address.
