Because he comes from the blame generation is the short answer. Plenty of them have been cuddled and pampered, adored and idolised and given free reign and cant handle the real world. It was a huge eye opener to see first hand how teams do everything for players during covid lockdowns.....even down to what to wear to go to training ! Do you think that someone like him has any understanding about the real world when you get paid $2700 a day. 

When I first seen him play I said to the missus that kid will captain Australia one day, I was wrong.

He has the talent but lacks the consistency and the application. The really good players just perform consistently week in and week out but we love to see a Walsh or a Mitchell or the Hammer run the length of the field breaking tackles to score. Roll on Origin

Well that was SHIT....but well done to NSW. Some interesting refs calls both ways shows the inconsistency we have in the game but never the less a win for NSW. 

Makes the next one more interesting for everyone.....I'm not blaming the refs for the outcome of the game, blues came out firing, caught em napping and they couldn't get their shit together until the tune up....be a different approach next game, go the maroons.
