Well its been a bit off a quieter offseason so far regarding the usual mischief by the players. The only looming issue is will at least a dozen of the boys get a visa to play in the opener in Vegas due to past indiscretions in Australia....these players have been summoned to appear at the US Embassy for formal interviews to decide whether they are granted visas to enter America.

Seems dumb to me, what are they expecting to come of playing there?

Think that its some misguided delusion that its going to be a global game at some stage in the future...supercars tried the same trick racing in China, Usa Middle East etc and was a expensive flop. I have been told that most the ticket for this opener have been promotional give aways and corporate sponsor etc freebies to try provide a crowd. Anyway roll on 2024...Cows, Broncs..Finns and Titans all have a decent roster so lets see if we can win the comp this season. QLDER!

Yes it is rather a strange situation, perhaps if their visa is denied they should fly them to Mexico and they can walk over the border and return home via the same way.
